Creating Multiple Copies of Forms

When you are working in Forms Central and completing a form that can have multiple copies, the program displays the New Copy button and a Copy Number list box in the top left corner of the Forms Central window. When you create multiple forms, the copies of the forms are numbered sequentially (for example, Copy 1, Copy 2, etc.).

To create a new copy:

  1. Go to the Forms menu and click Open Forms.

  2. Click the Federal or state tab (for example New York) to display the list of available forms.

  3. Select the Form that you want and click Open Form.

  4. Click the New Copy button, and then click Yes.

Note: If you don't see the New Copy button, you cannot make another copy of the form.

To move between copies:

The program displays the copy you select in the Forms Central window.
