Saving Your Return as a PDF File

The H&R Block software allows you to save your tax return as a PDF file. Having a copy of your tax return as a PDF (.pdf) file will allow you to view your return from outside of the program.

Note: The first time you choose to save your return as a PDF file, the program must install additional software in order for you to save and display your return in the PDF format. When prompted, click the Install PDF995  Software button and then double-click on the Install PDF Printer shortcut icon. Once the PDF software finishes installing, click the Close button.

Once you install the PDF software, follow the steps below to save your return in the PDF format.
