The Refund/Owe Meter, located in the upper right corner of the H&R Block tax software main window, always displays your current refund amount or the balance due. If you have both the federal and state programs installed, amounts for both your federal and state return are displayed as you complete them.
Note: If you have more than one state program installed, a drop-down list is displayed above the State Refund/Owe Meter. Select the state from this list to display the associated amount.
When you click on the Meter, the H&R Block software displays the Tax Summary report which shows more details on where your money went. You can also display the Tax Summary information and view other reports summarizing your tax return, from the Reports menu.
