Turning on H&R Block Critical Alerts

The H&R Block tax software includes critical alerts for important notifications of tax-related dates and events that could impact your tax situation. You can set up the H&R Block software to automatic display these alerts.

The first time you opened the program, you were prompted to set up automatic updates and critical alerts. If you did not set up this option at that time, you can go back and set it now.

To set up automatic updates and alerts:

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Auto Check Alerts and Updates.

2. Click on the option labeled Automatically check for alerts and updates.

3. Click OK.
